ChatGPT can look at a photo of you, work out your face shape, and suggest the glasses frames, beard style, hairstyle and colours that usually suit that shape. It works on the free plan too (free accounts have daily limits on uploads and image generation).

What you need

• The ChatGPT app or chatgpt.com (free or paid account)
• One clear, front-facing photo of yourself: good light, no filter, hair off your forehead if you can

Step 1: protect your photo first

Before you upload a face photo, open Settings → Data Controls and switch off “Improve the model for everyone”. That stops your chats from being used to train future models.

Step 2: upload the photo and paste this prompt

Look at this photo of me.

1. Tell me my face shape (round, oval, square, heart, long or diamond) and which features made you decide.
2. Based only on that face shape, suggest:
   - 3 glasses frame styles that suit me, and 2 to avoid
   - the beard style (or clean shave) that suits me, and why
   - 2 hairstyles that suit me, and exactly what to tell my barber
   - 3 clothing colours that go well with my skin tone
3. Put the suggestions in a simple table.

Do not rate my looks or give me a score. Keep it kind, practical and short.

Step 3: see the new look on your own photo

In the same chat, paste this:

Now edit my photo to show me with the first glasses frame and the beard style you suggested. Keep my face, expression, clothes and background exactly the same. Photorealistic.

Want to try another option? Just say “now try the second hairstyle” or “show me clean-shaven”.

Before you rely on it

• These are suggestions based on common style rules, not facts. Try things on before you buy.
• AI can misjudge face shape from one photo. A straight-on photo at eye level gives the best result.
• Only upload your own photo. Never upload someone else’s face without asking them.
• You look fine as you are. This is just for fun and new ideas.
